NDTV Good Times “Band Baajaa Bride”

Welcome to NDTV Good Times “Band Baajaa Bride” (the “Show”), organized and managed by New Delhi Television Limited (“NDTV”/“us”/“we”/“our”) on Good Times, NDTV and NDTV Profit (“Channel(s)”). By participating in the Show via NDTV’s website https://www.ndtvgoodtimes.com (hereinafter referred to as “NDTV Website”), you (“you”, “your”, or “Participant(s)”) hereby acknowledge and agree that you are entering for an opportunity to be a bride (“Bride”), in one of the eight episodes (each an “Episode”) produced by NDTV and telecast on the Channel(s), subject to your full acceptance of and compliance with the terms and conditions set out hereinbelow.

By participating in the Show, all Participant(s) shall be deemed to have unconditionally accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms, as well as all rules, regulations, policies, and terms of use referenced herein or otherwise published by NDTV in relation to the Show on the NDTV Website or any other NDTV’s platform (“Terms”). Any Participant who does not agree to or accept the Terms shall not be eligible to participate, and any participation made in contravention of the Terms shall be deemed null and void.

  1. Eligibility
    1. The registration of the Show shall start on 09th October 2026 and the last date for registration shall be 30th November 2026 at 11:59 PM. However, NDTV reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, amend or change the duration, rules or terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice. All changes will be effective immediately upon publishing on the NDTV Website. Participant(s) are responsible for reviewing the Show rules regularly to ensure they are aware of any updates or modifications.
    2. This Show is open to all individual Participant(s) who shall, as on 09th October 2026:
      1. are above the age of 18 (eighteen) years;
      2. will have to be a female, who are engaged to marry or are in the process of getting married from 09th October 2026 to 31st March 2027;
      3. are of sound mind and health; and
      4. any persons who are not an Indian citizen but will be getting married in India.
    3. Employees, representatives, or agents of NDTV, its affiliates, and their immediate family members are not allowed to participate in the Show.
  2. Mode of Participation: To participate in the Show, the Participant(s) shall be required to do the following:
    1. Each Participant is required to:
      1. visit the NDTV Good Times website, i.e., https://www.ndtvgoodtimes.com, and click on the designated banner that will direct the Participant(s) to the online form (“Form”).
      2. in the said Form, the Participant will be required to:
        1. provide details including name, contact number, Email-Id, family details, including the details of her fiancé’s, Engagement Date, Wedding Date, Wedding Location, and a brief write-up about their love story etc;
        2. the Participant(s) shall upload a picture with family, her fiancé’s, engagement pictures, pictures with in-laws; and
        3. video file of (60-90 seconds), narrating about herself and explaining why the Participant deserves to be the Bride of the Show.
      3. read and click on the checkbox(es) provided in the said Form and thereafter click on the ‘SUBMIT’ button or such other button/option provided therein (“Show Submission”).
    2. A Show Submission shall be considered valid only if the Participant has accurately provided all required information and uploaded the requisite Content (as defined hereinafter) strictly in accordance with the instructions, criteria, and technical specifications set out in clause 2.1 above. Any submission that is incomplete, incorrect, non-compliant, corrupted, or submitted in deviation from the prescribed requirements shall be deemed invalid and shall not be considered for evaluation.
    3. The information provided in the Form must be original and shall not violate any third-party rights, including but not limited to copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other personal or proprietary rights. It must not infringe upon any copyrighted works, underlying works or any other legal rights held by third parties.
  3. Evaluation Process
    1. NDTV at its sole discretion will evaluate and shortlist 8 (eight) Forms deemed as the selected Bride. These selected Forms will be termed as “Shortlisted Show Entry” and these Participant(s) will be considered “Shortlisted Bride(s)” who will be contacted by NDTV for further verification.
    2. Each Shortlisted Bride(s) shall be featured in a single Episode of the Show produced by NDTV, which shall be broadcasted and telecast on the Channel(s) or any other platforms, as per its sole discretion.
    3. The Shortlisted Bride(s) will be required to produce her age proof (valid ID card, birth certificate, or any other document as required by NDTV, etc.). Any information or data submitted by the Shortlisted Bride(s) may be shared with any of the NDTV affiliate companies.
    4. NDTV shall have the sole and absolute discretion to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, communicate to the public, distribute, exhibit and display the Content submitted by the Shortlisted Bride(s), in whole or in part, in any form and through any means or media now known or hereafter devised, including but not limited to Channel(s), trade mailers, outdoor hoardings, NDTV’s social media platforms, digital channels, and any other promotional or advertising mediums, without any further consent, consideration or notice to the Participant(s).
  4. Personal Information of Participant(s)

    The privacy policy available at (https://www.ndtv.com/convergence/ndtv/new/privacy_policy.aspx) , which is deemed accepted and agreed to by every Participant, by agreeing to participate in the Show, shall govern all usage of any Personal Information (as defined in the Privacy Policy available at the aforementioned link) and/or any other information as detailed in the Privacy Policy and including but not limited to the mobile phone number, email, and/or any information gathered by NDTV under or pursuant to the Show. NDTV will have access to and collect information and data shared by the Participant, including the Participant’s personal information such as email address, mobile number and/or any information in relation to the participation of the Participant(s) in the Show gathered under or pursuant to this Show by NDTV (if any) (“Data”). By participating in the Show, the Participant(s) consent to the collection, receipt, storage, processing, disclosure, transfer, use, retention and sharing of the Data by NDTV, its affiliates, and designated third parties in accordance with the terms of its Privacy Policy and Terms of Use (collectively referred to as “Policies”).

  5. Family Consent and Participation Requirements of Participant(s)
    1. The Participant(s) shall obtain and maintain all necessary consents, approvals, and permissions from her family members, fiancé, and in-laws for her participation in the Show.
    2. The Participant(s) acknowledges and agrees that her family members, fiancé, Friends and in-laws shall be required to participate in shooting, interviews, promotional activities, and other production-related requirements in connection with the Show.
    3. The Shortlisted Bride(s) shall ensure that all such persons are available as reasonably requested by NDTV’s production team and execute any consents, releases, undertakings, or other documents required by the producer in connection therewith.
    4. The Participant(s) further acknowledges and agrees that the Show may involve discussions relating to personal aspects of her life, including but not limited to physical characteristics, health-related matters, financial circumstances, psychological or emotional experiences, family dynamics, and other matters voluntarily disclosed by the Participant(s) to NDTV. The Participant(s) represents that she has informed her family members, fiancé, and in-laws of the nature of such disclosures and shall procure their cooperation and consent, to the extent required for the production of the Show.
    5. The Participant(s) shall be solely responsible for obtaining the aforesaid consents and cooperation, and any failure to obtain or maintain the same may result in her disqualification from the Show, at the sole discretion of NDTV, without any liability whatsoever on the part of NDTV.
  6. Participation, Scheduling and Availability Obligations of Shortlisted Bride(s)
    1. Shortlisted Bride(s) shall be required to execute and comply with additional agreements, undertakings, releases, consents, and/or terms and conditions as may be prescribed by NDTV from time to time. The Shortlisted Bride(s) eligibility and continued participation in an Episode shall be conditional upon the acceptance and execution of such additional documentation. Any refusal, failure, or inability to agree to or execute the same shall result in the Shortlisted Bride(s) immediate disqualification from participation, without any liability on the part of NDTV. For the avoidance of doubt, such additional terms and conditions shall be deemed to be supplementary to, and read in conjunction with, these Terms.
    2. Upon being selected as a Shortlisted Bride in an Episode, the Shortlisted Bride shall make herself available for a minimum of four (4) full days for the makeover, filming, rehearsals, promotional activities, and other production-related requirements as may be determined by NDTV and/or its production team.
    3. The Shortlisted Bride shall strictly adhere to all schedules, call times, instructions, and locations communicated by NDTV and/or its production team and shall report punctually at the designated locations.
    4. The Shortlisted Bride shall ensure that her family members, fiancé, in-laws, and any other persons whose participation is reasonably required for the production of an Episode are available at the dates, times, and locations communicated by NDTV and/or its production team for filming and related activities.
    5. During the production and shooting period, the Shortlisted Bride, her fiancé, family members, and to be in-laws shall make themselves available and fully cooperate with NDTV and its production team in accordance with the mutually agreed production schedule and requirements.
    6. Any anticipated unavailability, scheduling conflict, objection to a proposed shooting date, or inability to comply with a confirmed schedule shall be notified to NDTV and/or its production team in writing at least fifteen (15) days prior to the relevant shooting date. NDTV shall have the sole discretion to accept or reject any request for rescheduling.
    7. The Shortlisted Bride acknowledges that NDTV and/or its production team may make arrangements and commitments with designers, stylists, celebrities, sponsors, venues, service providers, and other third parties based on the schedule confirmed by the Shortlisted Bride. Accordingly, the Shortlisted Bride shall ensure strict adherence by herself and the relevant family members, fiancé, and prospective in-laws to all confirmed schedules and commitments.
    8. In the event any delay, cancellation, non-appearance, non-cooperation, rescheduling, or breach of the agreed production schedule by the Shortlisted Bride for an Episode, the Shortlisted Bride shall be responsible and liable for all third-party costs, losses, penalties, liabilities, or expenses, NDTV reserves the right to recover any such amounts from the Shortlisted Participant.
    9. Any failure by the Shortlisted Bride to comply with the obligations set out herein may, at NDTV's sole discretion, result in suspension, cancellation, or termination of her participation in the Show, without any liability whatsoever on the part of NDTV.
    10. The Shortlisted Bride(s) shall ensure that NDTV, and their respective representatives, crew members, agents, contractors, and authorized personnel are granted full and unrestricted access to the wedding venue(s), event venue(s), and such other locations as may be reasonably required for the purpose of shooting, recording, production, and related activities in connection with and Episode. To the extent any governmental, regulatory, military, defense, institutional, venue-specific, residential, society, landlord, local authority, or any other third-party approvals, permissions, licenses, or consents are required for filming at any location associated with the Shortlisted Bride(s), her family members, fiancé/groom, in-laws, wedding venue, residence, or related premises, the Shortlisted Bride(s) shall be solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining such approvals, permissions, licenses, and consents at her own cost and in a timely manner.
    11. The Shortlisted Bride(s) acknowledges and agrees that NDTV and/or the production team shall have the right to shoot, record, photograph, and otherwise capture audio-visual content at and around the Shortlisted Bride(s) residence, the residence of her fiancé/groom, the residences of their respective family members, and such other locations connected with the Show, subject to the availability of all necessary permissions and consents. The Shortlisted Bride(s) shall procure and facilitate all such permissions, consents, and cooperation required from the relevant owners, occupants, residents, authorities, and third parties.
    12. Any failure to obtain the requisite permissions or to ensure the availability and cooperation of the relevant persons may result in modification, postponement, suspension, or cancellation of the Shortlisted Bride(s) for an Episode, at the sole discretion of NDTV and/or the producer, without any liability whatsoever on its part. The Shortlisted Bride(s) shall be responsible and liable for any additional costs, losses, or expenses incurred by NDTV and/or the production team as a direct result of such failure.
  7. Rights and Usage

    Shortlisted Bride(s) grant NDTV a worldwide, royalty free, unlimited, transferable, sub-licensable right and license to (a) use name, photographs and videos for promotion in the manner as deemed fit by NDTV; (b) use personal information to contact her for testimonials and promotions after the Show; and (c) use the personal information for purposes defined under the website’s Privacy Policy.

  8. Liability and Indemnity
    1. The Participant(s) shall participate in the Show voluntarily and at her own risk. We shall, under no circumstances, hold liability and/or responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by any Participant(s), whether directly or indirectly, through its participation in the Show.
    2. The Participant(s) including the Shortlisted Bride(s) hereby agrees to indemnify and hold harmless NDTV, and its directors, employees, associate partners, third-party vendors and licensors, from and against all liability, cost, loss or expense arising from their participation in the Show including (but not limited to) personal injury and damage to tangible physical property and whether direct, indirect, consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission on their part, or otherwise.
    3. The Participant(s) acknowledges and agrees that participation in the Show is entirely voluntary and shall be undertaken at her own risk. The Participant(s) shall ensure that her family members, fiancé/groom, prospective in-laws, and any other persons participating in the Show are aware of and accept the risks associated with such participation. To the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, NDTV and their respective affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, and representatives shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, cost, expense, or claim suffered or incurred by the Participant(s), her family members, fiancé/groom, prospective in-laws, or any other related persons arising out of or in connection with their participation in the Show.
    4. NDTV shall have no liability for any act or omission beyond its control, including but not limited to any earthquake, flood, pandemic, epidemic, strike, lockout, labor controversy, riot, telecommunication failure, internet breakdown, software disruption, civil disturbance, war, civil commotion, etc. In no event shall NDTV’s liability for any claim made by any user for any reason exceed Rs. 100/- (Rupees Hundred only).
  9. General Provisions
    1. The opportunity granted to the Shortlisted Bride(s) to be a Bride for an Episode in the Show is strictly non-transferable, non-assignable, and non-exchangeable. Under no circumstances shall any cash amount, monetary substitute, or other form of consideration be offered or provided to the Shortlisted Bride(s) in lieu of, or in relation to, the opportunity to showcase the Bride in the Show.
    2. If at any point in time during the Show, it comes to NDTV’s knowledge that the Shortlisted Bride(s) has become medically/mentally/physically unfit to continue with the participation in the Show, then NDTV reserves all the rights to disqualify/eliminate the Shortlisted Bride(s) and at any point in time, without any liability to the Shortlisted Bride(s).
    3. None of the Participant(s) shall, without the prior written approval of NDTV, speak to the press or any other media, nor give any interviews or comments relating to the Showor write blogs, post any messages in social networking or any site including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, and X. Violation of this clause shall immediately disqualify/eliminate the Participant from further participation in the Show.
    4. The Shortlisted Bride(s) shall not, at any time during the shooting of an Episode, wear, display, reference, or otherwise mention the name, logo, branding, or any other identifier of any competing television channels, competing shows, or competitors of the Show sponsors. Any violation of this restriction shall constitute grounds for immediate disqualification from the Show at NDTV’s sole discretion.
    5. The Shortlisted Bride(s) acknowledges and agrees that shoot performed or showcased in the Episode, as well as all Content submitted in the Form, must strictly comply with all applicable laws and standards of public decency and morality. The Content shall not, under any circumstances, contain or depict any material that is obscene, vulgar, defamatory, denigrating towards women, artists, celebrities, minors, or any individual or class of persons; that hurts religious sentiments; that promotes, glorifies, or depicts violence; or that is contrary to the public policy of India. The Content must be entirely original and shall not infringe or violate any third party’s intellectual property or proprietary rights, including but not limited to copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, right of publicity, right of privacy or moral rights.
    6. There is no levy of an entry fee for participation or at any stage in the Show. The Participant(s), are not required to pay any amounts, fees or monies at any stage of the Show in any manner or for any reason whatsoever. Any person who claims to be from NDTV and asks the Participant(s) for paying an entry fee for participation in the Show or to pay monies for any reasons associated with the Show or asking to pay accommodation or other charges that may be reimbursed at a later stage, is defrauding the Participant (s) and she should report this to the local police immediately.
    7. NDTV shall not be responsible for any errors or omissions in the Terms contained herein. All information provided is provided “As-is” without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement in respect of participating in the Show. Without limiting the foregoing, we specifically disclaim any warranty (a) that NDTV Website will be uninterrupted or error-free; (b) that defects will be corrected; (c) that there are no viruses or other harmful components that exist on the NDTV Website; (d) regarding the security of information submitted; and (e) regarding correctness, accuracy, or reliability. The Participant(s) use of the NDTV Website, online entry form results in the need for servicing or replacement of the Participant(s) or another’s equipment or data, we are not responsible for those costs.
    8. NDTV Good Times shall have the unrestricted right including but not limited to reproduce, record, edit, modify, adapt, translate, dub, subtitle, synchronize, digitize, package, exploit, communicate to the public, distribute, license, transmit, broadcast, rebroadcast, stream, publish, advertise, promote, market, and otherwise use or exploit the Show and any such material, in whole or in part, in any manner and through any media or platform now known or hereafter developed, throughout the world and in perpetuity, without any further consent, approval, notice, or payment to the Participant(s).
    9. The Participant(s) further acknowledges and agrees that she shall not be entitled to raise any objection or claim against NDTV in relation to the editing, modification, use, exploitation, broadcast, publication, or commercial exploitation of such material.
    10. The Participant(s) warrant and represent to NDTV that all information, including any communications, photos, text, video, graphics, images and other material submitted by the Participant(s) for the Show (“Content”), are solely owned by the Participant(s) and the use of the Content by NDTV will not infringe upon any other individual or organizational rights (including, without limitation, intellectual property rights). The Participant(s) shall be completely responsible for handling any infringement or alleged infringement and shall indemnify NDTV, and its subsidiaries, affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, sponsors, partners, third party associates from any claims (in India or abroad), arising out of or in connection with losses, costs, damages, expenses from infringement or alleged infringement by any Content, or the defense of a claim or any costs payable thereof.
    11. We, at our sole discretion, reserve the right to alter, amend or deny the benefits and/or feature and/or their criteria, in such manner, as we may deem fit without any liability to any Participant whatsoever.
    12. If it comes to our notice that any governmental, statutory or regulatory compliances or approvals are required for organizing and managing the Show or if it comes to our notice that conducting the Show is prohibited, then we shall withdraw and/or cancel the Show without prior notice to any Participant(s) or final Shortlisted Bride(s) of the Show. Participant(s) agree not to make any claim in respect of such cancellation or withdrawal of the Show in any manner whatsoever.
    13. The Participant hereby confirms that she is participating in the Show in her personal capacity and not in the course of any business and/or profession.
    14. In the event of any violation/breach of the Terms, the Participant(s) shall at the discretion of NDTV be disqualified from the Show with immediate effect. NDTV reserves the right to delete/remove any Participant that violates these Terms and conditions.
    15. NDTV reserves the sole and absolute right to disqualify any Shortlisted Bride(s) from the Show and/or to bar such Participant(s) from an Episode of the Show if, at any time, the Shortlisted Bride(s) is found to have engaged in any conduct that NDTV, in its sole discretion, deems to be improper, unfair, dishonest, disruptive, prejudicial to the integrity or proper operation of the Show, or detrimental to any other Shortlisted Participant or to NDTV in any manner whatsoever. NDTV’s decision in this regard shall be final and binding and shall not be subject to challenge.
    16. The provisions contained in these Terms shall be read, in addition to and not in derogation of, any other terms including but not limited to Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Cookies Policy, etc. as may be published by NDTV from time to time (“Other Terms”). In case of any discrepancy between these Terms and Other Terms, unless otherwise expressly stated under the Other Terms, the provisions of these Terms shall prevail.

    18. In case the Participant(s) have any complaints or grievances pertaining to the offering and running of the Show and/or these Terms, please share the same with us by writing an email to legal@ndtv.com. On receiving such a complaint, grievance or notice, we reserve the right to investigate and/or take such action as we may deem appropriate. We may reach out to the Participant(s) to seek further clarification or assistance with the investigation, or verify the statements made in the Participant’s complaint, grievance or notice, and the Participant(s) acknowledge that their timely assistance with the investigation would facilitate the redress of the complaint.
    19. These Terms shall be construed in accordance with the laws of India, notwithstanding the conflict of laws principle, and any dispute or any other matter arising in reference to any aspect of these Terms, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi.
